Site Traffic

I find it interesting to look at traffic and web site statistics. For example, in the last three days since I moved to the ads free server, there were an average of 330 unique visitors each day! That’s mighty impressive, I find. In the last two weeks of the site being up on the web, there were 3368 visitors who looked at the “Where are the photos?” page.

That is by far the most looked at part of the site, followed closely by the story “Isabelle” with 2200 hits or so. So, people come here and look for pictures, and, well, won’t find them here. I wonder how many potential regulars I’ve lost by taking the stance of “no photos on my site”. Probably a fair bit. But then, my site’s never been about photos. If you’ve seen it in prior incarnations, you will surely remember that.

The interesting thing is, however, that the “Where are the photos?” page also happens to be the only one that has had so many votes on it. 230 votes when I last looked, with a 5 star rating. This tells me that perhaps my “no photo” stance isn’t received so badly after all. Ah well. I’ll just keep on plugging and doing what I do. You’ll read my drivel, or you won’t… :)
