I Must Be A Naughty Boy

Christmas 2009. I did not get what I wished for, *really* wished for. I bet you didn’t either! I must be really naughty. I’ve been asking Santa for the same thing every year since I was 5 year old: To become paraplegic.
So you’ve been asking for the same thing. If you’ve not been asking to be paralysed, you have been asking to be an amputee, blind, deaf, or something along those lines. That is of course if you have BIID, you could very well be reading this and not have BIID. But let’s face it, that’s unlikely.
Hmmm. Does Santa exist? I have no evidence he does. I have no evidence he doesn’t. I’ve just watched the remake of "Miracle on 34th Street". It was entertaining and does make one think. You can’t prove Santa doesn’t exist, anymore than you can prove that God doesn’t exist, or that either of them do exist. But if Santa does exist, and he *still* hasn’t brought me what I’ve asked for 36 times, it must be that I am a very naughty boy, doesn’t it?

Santa cannot *bring* you what you want. You have to go to his workshop.
It reminds me of the line from “Life of Brian”: “He’s NOT the Messiah. He’s a very naughty boy!”
Yes, Sean, you are a very naughty boy. Maybe you need a good spanking. ;o)
@Gravity: I would be interested to know what kind of things you have read here that had the biggest influence on what you think of us. Thank you for visiting; and Happy New Year to you.

Hi Sean.
I just wanted to let you know, after reading this, that I do not have BIID. But I’ve read this blog for months now, and it’s really interesting… At first I found the whole thing quite disturbing, but I’ve learnt a lot from here, and I’m glad that people like you and Chloe let us read and learn.
Have a good New Year, and I hope 2010 brings you the thing you need.
