A note for my partner

Some day, you’ll find this site. Maybe I’ll have directly told you about it, or maybe you’ll have stumbled on it looking for information about BIID, or found it some other way. Chances are, you’re not going to be happy about it, particularly that I didn’t tell you about the existence of the site.
The thing is, I attempted to tell you, a couple years ago, before the site went live. I tried to tell you about the site, I tried to get you to read my thoughts on my transabled feelings. I asked you to read my "journal". The few times I made noises to that effect, you appeared entirely uninterested. In fact, one time you flatly told me you didn’t want to.
From journal to website, one might say there’s a difference. You’ve known for years I wanted to resurect my website.
And so here I am, writing regular entries on a website, and communicating with other transabled individuals, all without your knowledge. When I expressed to you recently just how much the transabled feelings impact me, and as such, impact us, you appeared utterly surprised. Had you been aware of my writing here, it would not have been such a surprise. I blame myself for not having insisted on sharing these thoughts with you. It isn’t easy for me to discuss anything when I have the impression you aren’t interested, or that it’s not the right time. I just gave up after making several openings with less than stellar response.
If you’re reading this, you know about the site. I hope this will prove to be the opening we both need to be able to discuss things in a frank and open manner, and that you won’t think I was dishonest with you by not telling you more clearly about the site.
