A Little Help From My Friends

Ski season is only a couple of months away. Today I was hiking within the bounds of a ski resort (renowned for its adaptive skiing programs), looking for suitable cliffs. My mind wandered to thinking about how it is possible for me to be so comfortable at a party and talk about BIID, or not, as the occasion arises. I think it’s complicated; but it seems that friends are the biggest contributor to my comfort levels.

Raising the Hemline

Summer is here. Today is the first day this year forecast to be in the 90s(F). Usually I’m wearing shorter skirts by this time of year. However, I’ve been a bit nervous about being too ostentatious with the leg brace at work.
