We very rarely talk about my BIID but my husband is constantly reminded of it by the clutter of braces and crutches around the house and not least the wheelchair that is permanently hanging over a back seat of the car with its wheels that clang every time he drives round a corner.

I am tearing my hair out over all-terrain tires and wheels. I want and need wider, knobbly tires for when I wheel on slopes and on grass. I would like a second set of wheels so as not to have to change the tires each time. I also need to know if the wheels will fit my axle.

I suppose it was my duffle bag that was hung over the back of the chair that provoked the incident. True, the space between the displays was particularly tight in that part of the store. I was looking at lumberjack shirts when all the baby buggies behind me fell like dominos. But some of them fell off the shelf and got stuck between my wheels and the display.
