An article about Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID) came out in Newsweek. It is a balanced article that presents BIID pretty well. These fleeting sudden thoughts carry more weight than the day dreams you spend almost a week thinking up in your head. I personally think these thoughts are a more accurate window into your mind than day dreams. I mean, I *do* look at my own reflection when I zoom down the sidewalk and there’s good shop windows to reflect. But it’s not deceit, it’s about self-image.

I’ve been contacted by someone who wishes to speak to transabled individuals with the goal to understand Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID) better. She is wanting to write a play with a character who has BIID. This is quite different from the usual request for documentary, as it does not involve direct participation or appearing on camera.
