Lately I’ve noticed a trend on several of the sites I visit and groups I belong to. I know this happens in every group, every environment we see ourselves in whether it be family, working, in person or online. The whiners, bitchers, pissers, and moaners…. Now in all honesty I have done my fair share of the afore mentioned adjectives, but lately there have been some posts that have really pushed my ‘get over yourself’ buttons.

This is basically my story. I use the name Lily and I live in France. I’m a married woman, with 3 children and I have a wonderful husband.
Some of you may have heard of me either in a British newpaper as the "french woman who injured her legs and then wanted them amputated" or on the ABC Primetime Show about people wanting to become amputees. As you know (if you’ve been reading all of my posts), I do have a few health problems. I would never try to say my health problems are as bad as other people’s, but they are real and cause me some pain. If you want to know what they are go read Sophie. I’m involved in a health group in yahoo and I genuinely care about them, as I was always sure they cared about me, but recent events have made me wonder.

Well it seems the best laid plans are often the ones that get side tracked. As I had stated before I would look for a new, better chair in the spring or early next summer when I would be in more of a position of ‘needing’ one as my situation by then would call for a long term need for a chair.
