I am, by my own admittance, wanting to be a paraplegic. But for the last two or so weeks, my dreams, or nightmares, have revolved around becoming an amputee. Mostly, double leg amputations, above the knees

One of those months when you wonder if it’s truly possible that all that’s happened has truly happened. Perhaps it’s only a dream - an incredible, bizarre dream that could only be the invention of the most macabre of minds.

I think I do understand the chair vs. the braces thing. One is to do with emotional response in people, whereas the other is primarily sexual. For me, the 2 are together in the braces - I seem to think that braces would be a way to gain attention from others (don’t know why I think I need it though) - I can remember consciously thinking at the age of 12 that if I wore braces I’d get more friends. I even tried to break my leg again ( it was broken for real at 7-8yrs) in early teenage years to achieve this - a bit like you and your back.

Hello, glad to make another friend across the net. In talking with X on the #LegBraces IRC, he told me of his interests that run parallel to mine. It’s amazing that after years of being alone with a dark secret to find that there are others that share the same interest/wish/desire … whatever it is.
